HSV Celebrates Build of its 1,000th Chevrolet Camaro

HSV is celebrating the build of its 1,000th high-performance Chevrolet Camaro.

A Red Hot Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 was the honoured vehicle that rolled off the company’s production line in Clayton South, Victoria recently as a commemorative photo was taken, with all production staff, to mark the occasion.

The milestone is a significant one for HSV who only commenced re-engineering the high-performance Camaro range, for Australia and New Zealand markets, last October.

“It’s been a whirlwind 18 months for HSV and, as a team, we recognise this significant milestone with real pride”, said HSV’s Managing Director, Tim Jackson.

Ralph D’Silva HSV, in Preston, Victoria, will be the lucky recipient of this special vehicle which, at the time of writing, had not been sold. In addition to the HSV build plate marking its milestone status, a personalised letter of authenticity will also accompany the vehicle.

The high-performance Chevrolet Camaro range is one of 3 models HSV is offering as part of the company’s exciting new era of vehicle availability. The HSV SportsCat is carving a niche for itself in the “sports 4x4 ute” category, having recently released a Series 2 upgrade, while the Chevrolet Silverado monster-truck is building a keen reputation for its extreme towing capability.
